I worked on growth strategy for an advertising service agency to boost sales. My research mapped out who the ideal clients are, how they behave, what stops them from buying, and the best way to communicate with each specific client profile. From there, I figured out the right channels, timing, and pricing structures that fit the market.
Market Expansion
I helped green companies expand their market into Indonesia by mapping out target audiences, analyzing consumer price range, behaviour and pain points, choosing the right promotional platforms, and executing strategies to build brand trust.
Media Sentiment Analysis
I mapped out and analyzed media framing across news outlets, tracking how different narratives are constructed to shape public perception on various economic and political issues.
Sustainability
Carbon Trade & Climate Finance
I conducted a 4-year national-level assessment for a REDD+ carbon trade and sustainability project across eight regions. This confidential evaluation involved extensive stakeholder engagement with civil society organizations, government bodies, impacted local communities, and participating corporate entities to evaluate project impact and compliance.
AMDAL & ESG Assessment
I handled Environmental Impact Analysis (AMDAL) and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) assessments for Danone Specialized Nutrition Indonesia (SGM), evaluating facility operations, regulatory compliance, and corporate sustainability targets.
Policy Analysis
Authored a clean energy investment pitch deck evaluating Indonesia’s renewable sector under the Canada Indonesia CEPA and Perpres No. 109/2025. Combined macro trade analysis with financial modeling and case studies (such as the Benowo Waste-to-Energy model) to assess project viability and regulatory risk.
Electric Vehicle Transition & Gig Economy Research
Conducted policy and field research analyzing how platform business shifts from software to centralized infrastructure impact ride-hailing drivers, evaluating both corporate scaling challenges and structural driver constraints under current regulatory frameworks.
Peatland and Mangrove Ecotourism Development
I led research as a supervisor in collaboration with the Peatland and Mangrove Restoration Agency ( BRGM) and UGM for ecotourism development in Batam. Result confidential.

I co-authored a journal article published in Umbara: Indonesian Journal of Anthropology that examines how neighbourhood security posts (gardu) and community surveillance functioned as physical expressions of moral panic during the early COVID-19 pandemic in Yogyakarta.
Green Governmentality
I published a research paper exploring environmental governance, participatory mapping, and sustainable land management struggles within national park conservation frameworksin Northern Thailand.
Food Security
I co-authored a journal article analyzing structural food supply vulnerabilities in urban areas, examining how agricultural homogenization and existing social protection frameworks affect urban groups, and discussing the policy implications of food diversification and social security systems.
Disaster Adaptation
I wrote a published journal article examining the local adaptation strategies and socio-cultural mechanisms employed by the Kampung Ledhok Code urban community in Yogyakarta in response to seasonal natural disasters and living vulnerabilities along riverbanks.
